*Prices are subject to change.

*Please note certain medications make the skin more sensitive; therefore, with waxing and certain skin treatments, caution should be taken or avoided altogether. Everyone reacts differently, so to avoid further complications, please review the following and inform your esthetician if you are currently taking any of these medications: Accutane (or have used in the past few years), Adapalene, Alustra, Avage, Avita, Clindamycin, Differin, Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Isotretinoin, Minocycline, Nadifloxacin, Renova, Tazorac, Tazarotene, Tetracycline, Tretinoin (Retin-A), or any other medication used to treat skin conditions.

Post-Waxing Tips

The following are helpful tips to take into consideration after having your skin waxed:

  1. Stay out of the sun for 48 hours.
  2. Apply a fragrance-free moisturizer to the waxed area daily.
  3. Remove any residue with oil; this will dissolve the wax left on the skin.
  4. Wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent the skin from becoming irritated.
  5. As hair starts to grow back in, exfoliate your skin using something such as a loofah. This gets rid of dead skin and prevents ingrown hairs.
  6. To reduce pain, take a pain reducer, such as Tylenol, but avoid Ibuprofen.
  7. Rubbing the area with an ice cube is also recommended to reduce pain. This helps calm down aggravated nerve endings. Also applying Aquaphor to the area can relieve irritation.
